3- the Surgery Manager module has a specially designed Surgery Page for Refractive Surgery in addition to the page that currently exists for Cataract Surgery. The Surgery Page permits the user to finalize the refractive ablation by reviewing and selecting the manifest refractions, manual and topographic Ks to be used in a given patients surgery. An Ablation Calculator permits the user to estimate the expected residual cornea following a specified ablation at a specified optical zone. Additionally, the refractive surgery Preop List displays the relevant data.
4- a robust ledger function is provided - EOB reconciliation and payment entry are intuitive - balance billing , the billing of supplies dispensed (eg. Hydro-Eye) is enabled along with contact lens fittings and contact lens orders
5- a contact lens fitting module that permits speedy documentation of complex multiple lens fittings.
